Last night, Jake Bailey's video "How to Live a Life of Gratitude" popped up in my Facebook feed.
When Jake was 18 years old, he learned that he had an aggressive form of cancer.
He was told he had 2-3 weeks to live.
Somehow, Jake made it through.
Here's what he says he has learned:
EMBRACE EACH DAY. Don't live for the weekend or your holiday. Live for today.
LIVE EACH DAY WITH PASSION AND PRIDE TO YOUR VERY FULLEST. Every day is a gift. Treat it as such.
TAKE EACH DAY AT A TIME. Taking everything day by day allows you to focus on the now and appreciate life. And when it is dark, find the little bits of light.
BE GRATEFUL FOR THE PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE. There's no excuse to not appreciate life fully. Be grateful for the people in your life.
