As Dave Kekich says, "Life gives to the giver. The attitude of gratitude is the optimal manifestation of choosing high frequency, health giving thoughts."
And what is gratitude? I like Sean Stephenson's answer to this question:
There is so much to be grateful for at any given moment.
I am grateful for the space heater keeping my feet warm right now on this cold winter day.
I am grateful for the cup of coffee at arm's reach: Grateful for the coffee + the Marimekko cup.
I am grateful for the carpenters that built our home, which is keeping me dry right now.
I am grateful for my eyeglasses, which allow me to see clearly.
I am grateful for my computer that allows me to publish this post at the click of a button.
I am grateful for the flowers on the kitchen counter.
I am grateful for the exercise bike downstairs that I can ride today.
I am grateful for Abbey Lincoln magically coming out of the speaker right now.
I am grateful for the mail being delivered to our door each day.
I am grateful for the food in our refrigerator and the many hands that made it possible.
I am grateful for the service appointment scheduled for next week to fix our washing machine.
And on and on and on and on it goes. Grateful.
