In the last few years, YouTube has become a part of my daily life. I subscribe to a few different channels - Gary Vaynerchuk and Tom Bilyeu are favorites. I find I like to listen to new episodes while driving to the office after dropping my daughter off at school each morning. I purchased a bracket for my phone that inserts into my CD player. I clamp my phone in place and connect via bluetooth to my car speakers, and just like that I have a traveling theatre.

The never-ending ads were wearing me down, so I decided to try YouTube Premium AND I LOVE IT. Why?

1) Ad-free videos are just a better experience. Allows one to remain focussed on the content.

2) Play videos in the background. This is a great feature. If I am watching/listening to something, I can do something else and the YouTube video continues to play in the background. So, for example, if I need to quickly check an email, I can do so and the video still runs. It's a fantastic feature.

Recently, at home, I logged into my YouTube account on my Apple TV and was able to enjoy YouTube Premium on the big screen. It's not something I do that often, but I am glad that the ad-free option for YouTube content exists across all devices.
