31: The Wind Blows - "Blow Up"

One of my favorite films is Blow Up. As noted on Wikipedia, Blow Up (1966) is a mystery thriller film directed by Michelangelo Antonioni. It follows a fashion photographer -

Thomas (played by David Hemmings) - who believes he has unwittingly captured a murder on film.

I love this scene close to the end of the movie. Thomas returns to the park and finds that the corpse he projected in the blow-ups of his pictures is not there:

- I love the sound of silence in this scene: the dialogue between the wind and the trees.

- I love the mystery. Was there a body? What's the story? Is someone now dead and literally gone?

- I love how the photographer Thomas is the only person in this scene. It's as if he is the only person in the world for these few minutes.

Lots to love about this film. I recently saw it again. I look forward to returning to it in future.
